I have mopped myself into the craft room and can't go out until the floors are dry, so I thought I'd go ahead and post while I'm in here.

Have I mentioned recently how much I love Christopher Eccleston?

Bob and I are watching the new Dr. Who on DVD lately.  Christopher Eccleston was only Dr. Who for 13 episodes. Then he quit and was replaced by Barty Crouch Jr.

24, Lost, House, socks, & nature

Bob and I are watching 24 on DVD (we're on season 1). Paula and Faith got hooked on it (they're caught up to t.v.) and got Stephen and Christy got hooked (they're on season 2) and they got us hooked.

Bob and I got hooked on Lost on DVD (we're caught up to t.v.) and we got Christy and Stephen hooked (they're caught up to t.v.) and they got Paula and Faith hooked (they're on season 1).

Paula and Faith got hooked on House on DVD (they're caught up to t.v.) and they got Christy and Stephen hooked (they're caught up to t.v.) and they got us hooked (we're ready to watch it on t.v. but have to wait until the current season goes into repeats).

I'm still in my pajamas and it's 10:13. I'm off to shower. Claire and I are going for a nature walk, in which I will say "okay, keep walking" 10 million times, and she will pick up every leaf, stick, flower, rock, conker, and wondrous miracle of nature found along the way and then proudly display them on her bookcase when we get home.

I LOVE that. :)

summer t.v.

Bob and I haven't missed an episode of the new USA Network t.v. show Psych.  It is hilarious!  You need to start watching it. We laugh out loud.

Example:

"This is breaking and entering!"
"No. Only if you break something and then enter something. This is just entering."

And it has saved us from summer rerun blues.  It's about a slacker dude who has never held down a job for long who starts working for the police department pretending to be a psychic. He is able to pull it off because his estranged father, who was a police officer, trained him to be super-observant of details.

We're also enjoying Eureka on the Sci Fi network. It's about a town full of geniuses. :) Very fun and interesting.

We have also been watching The Closer on TNT since it started last year, and the new season started awhile ago. Cute ensemble cast.

Finally, we really couldn't survive without Mythbusters on the Discovery channel.

It has been fun to indulge my attraction to the fictional character of Fitzwilliam Darcy this week, but I'm a forty-year-old married housewife with a sweet baby girl, and it's time to move on and act my age.
