American Girl is selling this little chalet, which I would really like to have in my size, to hang out in.
They offer those matching girl-and-doll pajamas, so I do not know why they cannot offer mom-and-doll chalets.
I would yell to my family, "Hey, I'm going out to my chalet to read a book!" and then I'd disappear for a few hours.
I do love a good red bench and a snowflake mug by the fire.
But ... I will ask my own builders to pay close attention to scale. Because is it my imagination, or does the American Girl doll below look like Alice in Wonderland after she ate the Eat Me cake?
I am not familiar with American Girl Building Code, but it seems like there should be some rule that you have to be able to stand up without hitting your head on the ceiling.
Also, that window is not big enough for egress. If there is an American Fire, she is going to get stuck in that window, just like Winnie-the-Pooh in Rabbit's house.
