We've been back in the U.S. for six days, and are slowly getting readjusted to real life. Vacation photos make me exceedingly happy, however, and so I will continue to post them in the weeks to come, because they are much more interesting than anything going on here. (What is going on here? The cat brought a live mouse into the kitchen yesterday and we can't find it and are scared to go to bed tonight, Bob got back last night from several days in Indiana, Claire is getting tested for allergies, school registration is tomorrow, I painted Claire's bedroom yellow and she got a new bedspread, and I'm reading The Spy Who Came In From the Cold. We are all excited to see our friends and family. I still have a little bit of jet lag, but not bad.)
Enough about us. Let's look at this, instead. :)
The Burrow set was great ... it was animated, so the dishes were getting washed and the clothes were getting ironed and the knitting was being done.
The concept art was one of my favorite parts of the entire experience. :)
I loved this model of the Durmstrang ship. The detail was wonderful.
And then the surprise of this model of Hogwarts. It was amazing.
Everyone who worked on the movies has his or her own wand. :)
It's a glorious place, I tells ya! Glorious. :)
I hope if you are a Harry Potter fan that you have the opportunity one day to visit.
