Perception vs. reality:
“Look to the right and see:
there is none who takes notice of me;
no refuge remains to me;
no one cares for my soul.”(Psalm 142:4)
“Humble yourselves . . . under the mighty hand of God,
casting all your anxieties on him,
because he cares for you.”(1 Peter 5:6-7)
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
